Designed by Carp Angler in USA, these are in our opinion the aboslute best leads for use with paste or packbait you will find on the market.

Works best with a standard size 8 swivel.

What's so different about our Inline Packbait Leads?

For over a year we looked at many different leads designed for fishing using paste or packbait and thought we could improve the design, durability and also make them cheaper.

1 - We have noticed that other, smililar leads of this kind would either be uncoated (made in bright, shiny color whoch could scare away the weary carp) or painted using cheap materials and using an outdated "dipping" process. This would cause them to start peeling easily after coming in contact with rocks, gravel and other elements causing the peeling paint to often stick out of the lead and on few ocasions "catching" our line or hookling in it causing damage.

Because of that we gave the leads far superior and smoother coating that is much more appealing and durable over time. We then improved on this coating even further and gave it a bit more "hold/sticky power" when using these leads with packbait or paste. This way you get the best of both worlds - a smooth, beautiful, olive camo finish and a good grip on packbait or paste at the same time.

2 - When testing other leads we noticed that poor craftmanship was responsible for occasional damage to the rigs when coming in contact with the uneven or sharp bottom of the lead where the uneven opening (at the seam of the lead) can cause the knot under the lead to rub against it and cause unnecessary friction, weakening the strength of the knot.

We made sure this issue is addressed and all of our leads are coming with absolutely smooth edges where you would hardly notice any seam at all.

3 - The plastic inserts/tubes on the inline leads made by other manufacturers are often very hard and have little flexibility. This causes a two-fold problem; The inserts can easily break in the transport, given the chance to bounse around, especially on larger leads and the same inserts can get damaged, especially on top of the lead end, leading to them to becoming an issue with rubing against the mainline. This damage often occurs during retrieval when the lead's insert gets bumped into rocks and other obstackles.

We solved this problem by creating a softer and more durable insert, which is capable of taking a proverbial beating and still remaining intact, so you have just one less thing to worry about.

4 - We upgraded the inner spring to one that offers the absolute best in durability, so your packbait lead will not get out of shape, ever.

Other features:

The weight of the lead was also slightly adjusted to enure it is focused on the front and sides of it, making for better casting, head-down landing and proper rig presentation.

All in all we believe this is the highest quality packbait lead on the market and paired with our flat $5 shipping per order, probably the cheapest one as well!
